As a Content Writer, you will work closely with our marketing, SEO, and editorial teams to produce high-quality articles, blog posts, web content, and other materials that engage, inform, and convert our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation Write clear, engaging, and well-researched content for blogs, websites, social media, emails, product descriptions, and other marketing materials.
SEO Optimization Research keywords, integrate them into content, and follow best SEO practices to help increase organic search traffic.
Content Strategy Collaborate with marketing teams to develop content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.
Editing & Proofreading Review and edit your own content, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, style, and tone of voice.
Research :Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics and competitor content to create valuable and informative articles.
Collaboration : Work with graphic designers, video creators, and other content creators to ensure multimedia elements align with written content.
Content Planning: Assist in creating content calendars and ensure deadlines are met for ongoing projects.
Brand Voice: Maintain consistency in the brand’s tone and voice across all written content.
Social Media & Engagement: Occasionally write social media posts or contribute to the development of engaging content for social platforms.
**Qualifications**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: At least 1-3 years of professional writing experience, preferably in a content-focused role.
Skills:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different formats and audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Basic understanding of social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS or other web development languages.
- Familiarity with tools like Grammarly, Copyscape, or other plagiarism checkers.
